"From mandate to motivation", new EJD report

The European Junior Doctors association has just released a new report which aims at exploring challenges and strategies to transform junior doctors’ retention strategies in Europe.

European Junior Doctors (EJD) association actively supports junior doctors across Europe on different key topics. Notably, European Junior Doctors and the UEMS collaborate for many years in the matters of postgraduate training of medical specialists.

EJD has just released a new report authored by Anna Klesmite-Bluma, Álvaro Cerame, David Berhanu, Patrick Pihelgas, Dimitri Eerens, Miglė Trumpickaitė on the medical workforce.

The report advocates for a shift from mandate-based strategies to motivation-driven approaches that respect the autonomy and career aspirations of junior doctors while effectively addressing the healthcare needs of underserved populations in Europe.
